🌍 Why Miami & Why Now

Miami is a vibrant, culturally diverse city with an emerging conscious movement scene. While there are many yoga studios, festivals, and wellness offerings, there is still a deep need for authentic, transformative dance spaces.

Currently, Jenergy is one of the only experienced ecstatic dance facilitators in the area. This training is designed to create a ripple effect by empowering new facilitators who can bring ecstatic dance to different neighborhoods, studios, and events across the region — and beyond.

Duration: 5 Days (In-Person Immersion)

Week 1: Foundations & Sacred Space

• Opening circle and intention setting

• History and philosophy of ecstatic dance

• Group agreements and sacred container creation

• Movement practice: Elemental Embodiment Flow

Week 2: Somatic Practices & Warm-Ups

• Somatics for awakening the body and nervous system

• Warm-up facilitation techniques

• The art of verbal cueing and voice activation

• Practice: Guiding others through a warm-up

Week 3: The Music Journey

• Understanding the arc of a dance journey (warm-up, peak, integration)

• Music selection and genre exploration

• DJ fundamentals (optional hands-on session)

• Group practice: Collaborative playlist creation

Week 4: Event Production & Leadership

• Logistics: venues, sound systems, and ticketing

• Marketing and growing a dance community

• Holding space when challenges arise

• Practice: Facilitating a small group dance

Week 5: Integration & Graduation

• Full ecstatic dance session led by participants

• Closing circle and reflection

• Certificates of completion

• Next steps for mentorship and community activation
